  Radio has France stopping movement into Paris amd other places. Similar in Britain, Germany, Oz etc.

  I was just reading about the Irish troubles. The heavy hand won lots of enemies, but it has been only 100 years.

  We never see governments repealing laws. Mostly they just add and rewrite them as " common sense".

  i'm going to take a wild stab in the dark here and guess that the watchtower is having a wonderful time over the whole ukraine situation.

  is the whole " end of times " thing being pushed again to bring dissidents back into line .

  they must be seeing as a gift from above .

  The news in general makes this look like a rerun of ww2. Columns of tanks, infantry, Carpet bombing.

  Guess we better get our purple triangles ready.

  Reality; a distraction from the failed economy and incompetence of leaders. From pictures All bets off on meetings of Russian troops ( men and women) and US women paratroopers, and pregnancy flight suit crews. Not to mention restricted duty from appendage removal.

  I counted 27 times in a prayer if I kept track. it was so many I wonder if the speaker was pimo and making fun.

  The other irritant is the titles some insert: excellency, grand God, creator, eminence, most high--on and on at starting prayers.

  Very little ever said about the saviour jesus though

  The sloppy joes were the better food. I soent a night chasing flies off it once. And yes we did get food poisoning big time. Few things can top diarrhea while away from home and staying in a camper, not even in a motel.

  I used to puzzle over fried chicken, wearing a suit. Now I realize the food service was justanother money scam.

  My very fondest memory is driving a couple hundred miles, checking in, and having passionate sex. Something about the trip did it. Meeting my wife at the hall was one of the few good things to come from jwism.

  this is an interesting and intriguing new law (or, it will be if enacted in its present form).. quote: "the proposed new religious discrimination act is intended to prevent a person from being discriminated against on the basis of their religion.".

  fair enough, but to get it through the house of representatives last night, the government accepted some changes.. the first draft (discussed last night) had a clause that may have impacted the rights of some gay and/or trans-sexual students at religious schools by allowing a religious school to expel such a student.

  last night the government was forced to accept changes that removed that possibility.
